Samantha & Dalton's Hitching Post Wedding in Dayton, Maine

A chance encounter at a birthday party started Samantha & Dalton down the path of spending the rest of their life together. If the past ten months of getting to know them both better has taught me nothing else, it is that Dalton & Samantha are gifted at making each other so very happy no matter what life has thrown at them. I dare say that Samantha simply is not capable of smiling more than she does when Dalton is around. And the twinkle that comes to Dalton's eyes when he even talks about Samantha... sigh. Life goals, friends. Needless to say, you cannot help but be so very happy when you see the two of them together.

Their entire day was an absolute dream come true for the two of them. Samantha and her ladies started their day at Karma Day Spa with all of their primping before heading back to Samantha & Dalton's house to put on the finishing touches. I have been dying to photograph a wedding at The Hitching Post of Maine for years ever since I heard that it was in the works. Well, Samantha & Dalton granted my wish and held their ceremony in the peaceful overlook towards the back of the property with the sun just setting behind the trees. With their formal portraits in front of the amazing barn, we headed inside to really celebrate the day. Fueled with a delicious dinner from Above and Beyond and delicious goodies from Kait's Kakery (not to mention the blue and white themed candy bar), their guests danced long into the night to songs played by The Music Man DJ Service.

Samantha & Dalton, I have had such a blast getting to know you both better over the last ten months. From dodging rain drops and ice during your engagement session last winter all the way to the crystal blue skies of your wedding day, it has been such a honor. I hope that you were able to enjoy your honeymoon and relax now that the planning is officially over. Congratulations!
