Andrew & Nicole's Fall Wedding at The Governor Hill Mansion in Augusta, Maine

Oh, my happy heart. I first met Nicole just over four years prior to her wedding day when her cousin (who might as well be her sister), Michelle, married Jory. I was over the moon when Nicole reached out to me about photographing her marrying Andrew. Weddings that feel like family reunions are my jam! Or, should I say, our jam since Alan photographed Michelle & Jory’s wedding with me and then Andrew & Nicole’s as well.

Alan and I first met up with the ladies at Lux Salon in Hallowell, Maine as they were all getting dolled up (and the Salon’s adorable dog was overseeing the process). I loved their awesome flannel shirts, which were button up of course, and their personalized glasses. Add in all the laughter and smiles and I knew it was going to be an awesome day. After getting their dresses on at Homewood Suites by Hilton Augusta, we followed the guys to St. Mary of the Assumption Church for their heartfelt ceremony performed by Deacon Martino, a dear family friend. There was laughter, a few tears, meaningful hugs, and loads of cheering when Andrew and Nicole were declared married at long last. Following their formal portraits at the church, we went to downtown Hallowell and Capitol Park in Augusta for more fun photos with their hilarious bridal party as well as formal photos of the newlyweds. By the time we got to The Governor Hill Mansion for their reception, Alan and I had been laughing so much our cheeks hurt. And the rest of their celebrations that day left us much the same. It was an awesome day in every way!

Andrew and Nicole have long ago received their images, but I wanted to share a selection of my favorites here. And to you, Andrew and Nicole, thank you so very much for having us there to capture the story of your day. It was an honor!
