Melissa & Rocco :: Wedding & Reception at Arrowhead Acres in Uxbridge, Massachusetts

Melissa and Rocco were introduced to me by Melissa's man of honor, Nick, who I first met in 2010 at Tarryn & Sean's wedding. Knowing how awesome THAT wedding was, you could understand my undying excitement to capture Melissa and Rocco's wedding! Many months of planning later, Melissa and Rocco tied the knot on April 14, 2012 at Arrowhead Acres in Uxbridge, Massachusetts. I don't think I could have asked for a better way to kick off my 2012 wedding season!

I first heard from Melissa almost a year in advance of their wedding day. Not meaning to sound like a dating website, but we hit it off right away and made plans to get together here in Maine. My husband and I met with Melissa and Rocco over lunch; the boys chatted about their mutual obsessions (meaning anything with an engine) while Melissa and I chatted about their wedding day plans (and whispered about her wedding dress). And, with that, the countdown to their day was on and it flew by faster than any of us thought it would. April 14th arrived and I don't think that there is a bride (& groom) in the world who was blessed with a more perfect spring day than these two. The birds were chirping, the sun was shining, and the temperatures were simply perfect; not chilly enough to make you reach for a coat, but not so warm to turn your glistening glow to anything more than just that. The only way their wedding day could have been more perfect is if poor Melissa hadn't been struck by a nasty head cold, but she was a trooper and you couldn't even tell that she was feeling under the weather.
